ReelsOnce upon a time, as children, we genuinely believed that if someone pinched our cheeks and called us ‘baby doll’ it made us feel happy. Not any longer. Now calling a child or youngster “chubby” can be demeaning to them, for even an eight-year-old knows all about body-shaming and the importance of having to look slim in order to be anybody’s favourite now. There is a hint of slander hiding in every word, and now more than ever before, even we, as parents, need to be mindful about what we tell our children. They are sensitive; they are aware; their concepts of self-worth are skewed, their identity is built around likeability and thanks to social media, likeability is directly linked to external attributes. What else do we say unknowingly that hurts them ?

ReelsWhile social media allows people to share life’s joyous moments, we must recognise that nothing posted online is truly private. Once a photo is posted, it is out of parents’ control and could stay on the internet forever. Many parents do not realise that their “sharenting” habits expose incredible amounts of personal information about their children which could lead to cyberbullying and other forms of exploitation. Do you agree with me? Share your thoughts in the comment section!!

ReelsYou can be friendly with your child, but you can’t be their friend. Friendship happens between equals. Your child needs you to be their parent, guide and safe space—someone who listens, understands and sets healthy boundaries. Being a good parent isn’t about being your child’s best friend. It’s about building a strong, healthy parent-child relationship based on love, trust and guidance. ❤️ What do you think?

CarouselThe most important safety lesson your child may ever learn isn’t taught in school—it’s taught through everyday conversations at home. When children know they can talk about uncomfortable situations without fear, shame, or judgment, they’re more likely to ask for help when it matters. Every parent should start age-appropriate conversations about body safety, consent, personal boundaries, safe and unsafe touch, and trusted adults early. These small conversations can build lifelong confidence and protection. Save this for later and share it with a parent or caregiver who needs this reminder. 💛

ReelsProtecting little smiles starts with the right habits. From birthday parties and chocolates to juices, packaged snacks, and canteen treats, kids are exposed to sugar throughout the day. With so many sweet temptations, cavities are becoming a growing concern among children. What makes oral care even more important? Kids’ enamel can be up to 50% thinner than adult enamel, making growing teeth more vulnerable to cavity damage. That’s why Sensodyne Pronamel Kids helps strengthen growing enamel and provides 24-hour cavity protection for growing smiles. Plus, it comes in two kid-friendly flavours that make brushing time a little more enjoyable. Now available on Blinkit! Comment for links #AD #EnamelProtection #Pronamelkids #OralCare #PronamelIndia

CarouselReal change isn’t built on reactions—it’s built on reform. The conversation around Jantar Mantar is an opportunity to ask a bigger question: How do we create an education system that’s fair, transparent, and future-ready? Because every student deserves a system they can trust. What’s your perspective?

ReelsEvery time another horrific crime against a girl makes the headlines, we tell our daughters to be more careful. “Don’t stay out late”, “Dress appropriately”.... But when will we start having equally important conversations with our sons? In a society where such heartbreaking incidents are making headlines far too often, it is time we shift the conversation. Protecting our daughters is important. But raising sons who respect women is how we create a safer society. It’s time we stop placing the entire burden of safety on girls and start sharing the responsibility at home. The change we want to see tomorrow begins with the values we teach our children today. Do you agree?
