ReelsCould Indians soon lose the freedom to invest in US stocks? 👀 The Nifty 50 has struggled while the S&P 500 has delivered much stronger returns over the past two years. Now, a proposed RBI change could make investing overseas significantly harder. Currently, Indians can remit up to $250,000 per financial year under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) for purposes including overseas investments. But under the proposal discussed here, overseas investments would require prior RBI permission, potentially removing the automatic route for investing abroad. Why does this matter? Most Indians already earn in rupees, own assets in India, and invest in Indian markets. International investing gives them another way to diversify across currencies, countries, and economies. Important: This is still a proposal. The existing $250,000 LRS limit remains available, and Indians can continue investing abroad under current rules. Should Indians have more freedom to invest globally, or should overseas investments face tighter restrictions? 👇 #FinanceWithSharan #RBI #USStocks #InternationalInvesting

ReelsAmerican tech companies have made billions by employing cheap labour in India. But now that AI is entering the picture, it feels like we're being left behind. Microsoft is offering voluntary exits to 60,000 employees globally, including eligible employees in India, despite making record profits. And I'm worried about what this could mean for India's real estate market, especially Bangalore. Property prices have shot up on the back of high-paying IT jobs. In 2022, just 11% of homes sold in Bangalore cost over ₹1.5 crore. Today, that figure is 62%. A lot of young professionals have taken on massive home loans assuming their salaries will keep growing. But what happens when the very companies that made these homes affordable start cutting jobs? Buying a home on a loan just isn’t worth it in this economy. #microsoft #layoff #realestate #IT #financewithsharan

ReelsIndia waited for a crisis to fix its economy. Are you doing the same with your money? 👀 In 1991, India was running out of foreign exchange and had to pledge its gold before opening up its economy. And we often follow the same pattern with personal finances. We build an emergency fund after an emergency. Buy health insurance after a hospital bill. Start investing when a financial scare hits. But financial security isn’t built during a crisis. It’s built before one. You can’t control when a crisis hits. You can control how prepared you are. Save this post and take one step towards securing your finances before your next payday. #FinanceWithSharan #PersonalFinance #FinancialPlanning #MoneyManagement #FinancialFreedom Investing

ReelsMillennials are focused on buying homes, building savings and planning for retirement. Gen Z, on the other hand, is often more focused on short-term goals. But what does this shift mean for the way younger Indians approach money, credit and long-term financial security? The way we think about money today can shape our financial future tomorrow. 💰 #FinanceWithSharan #PersonalFinance #GenZ #FinancialPlanning #MoneyManagement FinancialLiteracy

ReelsIs Mukesh Ambani really “running India”? 👀🇮🇳 Elon Musk once made a controversial remark comparing Mukesh Ambani’s influence in India to that of a Prime Minister. But according to this take, the real story could be about something else: India-US trade negotiations. After talks over a trade deal reportedly hit a roadblock, tensions escalated, with the US threatening steep tariffs on Indian exports. So, are these attacks really about Ambani’s influence, or are they part of a bigger game of trade negotiations and political pressure? Sometimes, what looks like a personal feud could be about much bigger economic interests. #FinanceWithSharan #MukeshAmbani #ElonMusk #IndiaUS

ReelsEveryone’s losing patience with the Indian stock market. But could this be the time to look for opportunities? 📉 According to this market cycle, 3–4 years of strong returns can be followed by 6–7 painful years. We’ve seen it before. After the rally from 2003 to 2007, the market went through a prolonged period of weak returns. And now, after years of strong performance, investors are facing another slowdown. The guest describes this as a market “detox” — a period for the market to regroup, while investors look for bargains instead of chasing stocks that have already run up. Because sometimes, the best opportunities appear when everyone else has given up. Are you still investing in this market, or waiting for things to improve? #FinanceWithSharan #IndianStockMarket #Nifty50 #StockMarket

ReelsJio’s IPO could be bigger than you think. 👀 With ₹27,500 crore being raised, the money is going directly into Reliance Jio’s bank account, not to promoters selling their shares. But here’s what caught our attention: major shareholders like Google and other investors aren’t exiting through the IPO. Does that mean there’s more to Jio’s story than the market knows? Would you invest in the Jio IPO? Let us know in the comments.

ReelsWhat if your child’s first investment was in SpaceX? 👀 Elon Musk’s reported plan to give SpaceX shares to children in America raises a bigger question about the future of money. If AI and robots end up doing most of our jobs, will earning a salary still be enough? Or will owning a piece of the companies creating that wealth become more important? Because in a world where machines do the work, owning assets could matter more than earning a paycheck. What do you think?

ReelsJio is preparing for what could be India's biggest-ever IPO. But is it really a tech company, or a telecom business in disguise? 📱 With a reported valuation of over ₹10 lakh crore, Jio's next big opportunity may not be charging more for internet, but selling more services to its existing customers. From JioAirFiber and JioHotstar to cloud computing and AI, the company is building an ecosystem around the hundreds of millions of Indians it brought online. But there's a catch: telecom still contributes nearly 88% of Jio Platforms' revenue and 95% of its EBITDA. So, is Jio's future really in AI and technology, or does its success still depend on telecom? Would you apply for Jio's IPO? Let us know in the comments.👇 #FinanceWithSharan #JioIPO #RelianceJio #IPO #StockMarketIndia
