There are so many varieties of Haworthias that I am still exploring . After lot of procrastination, I finally replanted my Haworthias in broader pots so that they can self propagate easier. . . How do you like the arrangement? 🌵 Haworthia Care 101 (for lazy plant parents, approved!) • Light: Bright, indirect light only. Haworthia likes sunshine but not drama. Direct sun = stress mode. • Water: Water only when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering? That’s how friendships end 💀 • Soil: Well-draining, cactus/succulent mix. Wet feet = instant heartbreak. • Pot: A pot with drainage holes is non-negotiable. Why not ? . . It is possible to do successful container gardening ⬇️ 1️⃣ Be aware of what you are growing . Moringa is a permanent plant and can grow tall but if you keep pruning and feeding it regularly, it will give you good results even in small pot. Here I am using 8 inch pot. 2️⃣ Don’t overcrowd the pot. Plant according to the pot’s size. Deeper the pot, deeper roots it can accommodate. 3️⃣ You can grow Chilly , tomato , spinach , fenugreek, Basil in 10-12 inch pots very easily as their root system is not very deep. Just make sure not to overcrowd the small pot. In that case none of your plants will grow healthy as all will be competitive to each other. ✨If you are growing tomato grow only single plant in 12 inch pot. ✨You can grow upto two chilly plants in 1 pot with a distance of 4-5 inch. Are you a kind of a person who is always wondering what to grow next 🤣 🍃Fennel is my latest find and I had not expected any results but surprisingly it is indeed very easy to grow . 🍃It can tolerate wide range of soils and can do well in full sun 🍃It will be a good option to attract pollinators 🍃Aphids are not at all friendly with this plant. If you are also scared of aphids , don’t wait anymore ,just sow this plant. ⚠️Fennel makes a poor companion plant for just about every crop, secreting a substance from its roots that inhibits the growth of its neighbors , that’s why you should plant these in pots. 🍃They like full Sun but very high temperatures will bolt them and you won’t get the tuber formed. It belongs to the same family of carrot but it is not a root vegetable . Once you start seeing few set of true leaves , plant to thin them out / pick the healthy ones to another pot of remove the unhealthy seedlings. This is my first time growing fennel 😁.
