UK beyond London 🇬🇧 Camping was never really a thing for me growing up in India. Most of my trips were hotels, Airbnb’s, road trips but never actually sleeping in a tent. So this was my first time camping and honestly, there’s something really nice about slowing down, being outside all day, sitting around doing absolutely nothing and then waking up somewhere surrounded by nature. FOLLOW FOR PART 2🫶 I wasn’t sure if I could survive 3 days with no signal and barely any luggage. But not only did I survive, I actually thrived! By the time the boat expedition ended, I was genuinely sad it was over. I wanted it to keep going. There’s something about disconnecting from everything familiar that reminds you how capable you actually are. I used to be the most sheltered, goody goody girl when I was 19. The kind who followed every rule, never questioned anything and believed that was exactly who I had to be forever. For a long time, I didn’t let myself grow out of that version of me. I thought changing meant I was somehow disappointing my younger self. Honestly, going to Rosie’s in Hiriketiya was one of my favourite local experiences. They charge you per head and then bring out this entire all you can eat spread of completely vegetarian food and I have to say, it’s absolutely delicious! My friend and I had such an amazing meal here, but more than the food, what really stayed with me was the hospitality and kindness of the people. The moment you walk in, you instantly feel at home 💕 They cook everything right in front of you, which makes the whole experience feel even more special and personal. And honestly, if I had discovered this place earlier instead of on my last day in Hiriketiya, I definitely would have come back for a cooking class here too. Will forever remember it 🫶 I never thought I could travel with someone. I’d gotten so used to solo travelling that I figured that was just how I worked now. Then I met Anne in Sri Lanka. Somehow that turned into coordinating the Philippines together and travelling together for 2 weeks. We travelled together, did our own thing when we needed to, looked out for each other and it was just… easy. No judgement, just a genuinely happy zone where we girls could be whoever we wanted to be. It’s rare to find that with someone on the road and I’m leaving with a very full heart 🫶💕 (Travel, solo travelling, Philippines, Sri Lanka)

My favourite part about travelling is how it’s humbled me. You land somewhere new and suddenly no one knows you, no one really cares who you are. You’re just one story among thousands… It makes you feel small in the nicest way. You live without judgment and just be kind because that’s the only way you know. People you might never see again, people you might plan trips with after or people who will be your long distance online friends. Nobody has to be kind, they just are. Honestly, that’s the best souvenir I could ever bring home. 💛

Four Seasons Bosphorus ( @fsbosphorus ) is just effortless luxury! It’s right on the water, boats passing all day, that classic Istanbul vibe but everything feels calm and polished. The building’s an old Ottoman palace so it’s beautiful!! 😻 The breakfast turns into a whole thing because the view is too good and at night the place is quiet and glowing even though the city’s right outside. Please, never judge a girl for overpacking. I swear, everything went wrong for me, literally and I almost cried because I couldn’t even withdraw cash for a taxi until I finally got my first card back. But honestly? My outfit and makeup saved me, haha 👀 Some days are good, some days are bad and then there are those days where your only job is to survive seven hours under the sun (hopefully not, but still). We can’t control any of that, but we can at least look cute while we deal with it, right? And honestly, getting ready made me feel like a whole new person. I wasn’t cranky anymore and suddenly I started having great ideas like, “Hey, why don’t I just sit at a restaurant?” Why did that not occur to me earlier? 😂 I’ve gotten so tanned, even my make up shade wasn’t matching towards the end of my trip hahah 📍 Koh Tao, Thailand. I started my Thailand trip in Koh Samui, planning to stay only 4 days. But staying at @lubdexperience changed everything for me. Growing up in the plains, surfing, cliff jumping, skiing were never really part of my life. We would only try those things on vacations, probably for 15 mins and find them exciting for a moment but then come back home. I was never in one place long enough to actually learn any of it. Even today, when I see people surfing in the distance (the person in the video), I was in awe. I told my friend, “That looks so fun. They’re having the best time, we should go.” My social anxiety is basically gone now because I travel solo a lot. I can talk to literally anyone! So I went up to him and asked if he’ll help me out. And he did! He paused his own practice to help me out, didn’t make fun of me, which was really sweet and maybe he gets that from being a Muay Thai fighter himself. The only people who will laugh at you when you try a new activity are going to be the people who never had the courage to try it themselves or are too afraid to live their reality. So fail and fall, and hurt yourself. That’s how everyone learns. Anyway, 2026 is coming and I’ve tried so many sports now on a one off basis, but not for enough time to really pick anything up. This time, I want to go to places, stay long enough to actually learn and really pick things up. Those will be my little souvenirs 🥇 I might not have grown up around these activities, but I’ve always imagined my life looking like this- by the water, trying adventure sports day in and day out. Moving. Feeling alive. Just being.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve juggled between two, sometimes even three careers. Not saying you should quit your job or anything, but I was doing marketing, content creation, and freelance gigs for brands. I was always chasing the next big project and getting lucky enough to land them. But then, I started burning out. Life was just passing me by without really living it. So, in February, I quit my marketing job to focus on content creation and take time for the things that made me happy. It’s been a new experience, but I can tell you, it’s beautiful! Slow living is so underrated. I recently stayed at @theoutposthotel on Sentosa Island, and let me tell you, treating yourself is worth it. Sometimes, just do something for yourself and feel the peace of doing nothing. Outpost is a gorgeous place, and I met some amazing people there. It’s all about those simple moments! Taking this break from running fast has been so rewarding, both professionally and personally. • Episode 1 • Also, when I say I was lost, I mean a year ago, not now. Going on a trip won't fix all your problems, but loving yourself every day and taking small steps to regain your confidence will. In the past year, I broke out of my comfort zone every day. I didn't just decide to go on a trip. I started by taking myself out in Delhi. I was so introverted and shy, and I still get nervous when talking to new people and sometimes say all the wrong things, haha. But I've also learned to embrace my friendly nature and share it. This year, I made an active effort to be out and about. This trip was the cherry on top! It wasn’t an easy decision. For the longest time, I talked about going on a solo trip, but even after booking my tickets, it felt unreal, like a distant concept or a fantasy.
